Findlay Automotive Group is the subject of a class action lawsuit over its inability or oversight in protecting their customers' data against a cyberattack.
I don't have the details of how it happened. Likely, nobody at Findlay does, either.
But I can guess. And I'm guessing either an IT person left something out, or someone didn't approve an expense which, in hindsight, would have been a lot less expensive than the lawsuit, loss of business, and loss of reputation Findlay will undoubtedly experience.
