Our Story
LUMO started with Chris Winder.
While serving as a United States Marine, Chris was sent away from his family to be stationed in Okinawa, Japan for a year.
In order to ensure he could return on time, he bought his first computer and took it with him, learning how to operate the computer, troubleshoot it, upgrade it, and keep it running. This kept him busy, out of trouble, and ignited his passion for technology.
When Chris returned, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree, 14 industry certifications, and taught computer science to underprivileged youth for almost four years.
After working for several other employers in jobs relating to his degree, he decided to run his own. LUMO is the end product of his decades of experience.
